To work with a sample photo: In step "1. Home", click on a photo from the Sample Projects tab.
To work with a saved photo: In step "1. Home", click on a project that you've perviously saved from the My Projects tab.
To upload your photo: In step "1. Home", click the Browse button to select an image of your home from your computer and then press the Upload Photo button. In step "2. Prepare", choose which garage door shape and size is appropriate for your photo and click a door to place it. You can then click and drag the corners and/or the arch so that they match the garage door shape on your home. If you have more than one garage door on your home then you can create more doors by clicking on another door under "Define Garage Door". Click "Next" when you are done.
Each of the next steps will define the look of your garage door. Use the Series, Collection, Panel, Window Glass, Decorative Inserts, Colour, Decorative Straps and Decorative Handles steps to choose your garage door options. Any options for your door that are available in each category will be displayed on the right-hand menu. You can click on them to apply them to the house. Whenever you are ready to move on to the next set of options, click "Next".
If you have more than one garage door on your project then you can choose to make them all have the same options, or to select them and apply options separately check the "Make doors the same" option under step "3. Series".
You can save your Design-A-Door projects! Click on "Create Account" to create your own login. You can then Sign-In, and on step "11. Summary", you can Save your project for future use. You can also choose to Print, Email or Share your project on the web by clicking on the corresponding icon.
